Booking family photos should feel exciting - not overwhelming.
From the moment you reach out to the moment your gallery lands in your inbox, my goal is to make the entire experience feel effortless, personal, and genuinely fun.
Here's what you can expect when working together.
Step One: We Dream Together
Every session starts with a conversation. Tell me about your family. What season of life are you celebrating?
Are you envisioning something cozy and intimate? Windswept on the beach? Golden light in an open field? Editorial and modern?
No two families are the same, and your session shouldn't be either. Together, we'll create a session that feels true to you.
Step Two: We Plan the Details
This is where you involve me as much (or as little) as you want. Only want help picking a location? I have a list for you. Not sure what to wear? I've got you. Need help coordinating colors? Absolutely. Wondering whether your energetic toddler is "too much" for photos? Definitely not.
I'll help you prepare so that when session day arrives, you feel confident instead of stressed.
Step Three: We Create, Not Just Pose
If the thought of standing awkwardly in front of a camera makes you cringe, you're in the right place. My sessions are relaxed, interactive, and full of movement. I'll gently guide you every step of the way, but I won't ask you to become someone you're not.
Instead of stiff poses, I'll give you prompts that create genuine moments.
Step Four: Trust the Process
Parents often arrive worried. "What if my kids don't cooperate?" "What if someone cries?" "What if we don't get any good pictures?"
Here's a little secret - Almost every parent says this. And every gallery ends up full of beautiful moments.
Children don't need to perform. Partners don't need to know how to pose. You don't need to feel like a model.
My job is to create space for connection and to take beautiful pictures.
Step Five: The Best Part
After your session, I'll carefully hand-edit every image in your gallery with the same attention and care that went into photographing it.
When you book with Glitz & Glory Photography, you're not just checking "family photos" off your to-do list. You're pressing pause.
You're giving yourself permission to step away from the busy schedules, endless notifications, and everyday chaos to simply be together.
For one evening, nothing else matters.
Just your people.
